| Installed on the Parks Canada Gulf Island National Park Reserve's headquarters in Sidney, British Columbia, the 7-kW grid-tie solar power system will provide approximately 10% of the building's power load. Similar systems have been installed at The Institute of Ocean Sciences and the Herzberg Institute of Astrophysics, also on Vancouver Island.
